Maintenance Core & Complete Guide for Silent Aluminum Alloy Linkage Doors
I. Daily Cleaning (Once a Week)
Wipe dust off the door surface with a microfiber soft cloth. For stubborn stains, gently clean with a neutral detergent (e.g., diluted dish soap), rinse with clean water, and dry immediately.
Do not use steel wool, strong acids/alkalis, abrasives, or alcohol, to avoid scratching or corroding the door coating.
Thoroughly remove dust, sand, and hair from the sliding rails and pulley grooves with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush, then wipe with a damp cloth and dry completely.
Clean glass with glass cleaner or diluted white vinegar, using a squeegee. Wipe dry water stains at joints between frames and glass.
Wipe dust off sealing strips with a dry cloth; avoid detergent penetration to prevent premature aging.
II. Hardware & Transmission System Maintenance (Every 3–6 Months)
After cleaning the sliding rails and pulleys (key to silent operation), apply silicone-based or special door-window lubricant to pulley shafts and rail contact surfaces (avoid engine oil, which easily accumulates dust). Check for wear, abnormal noise, or jamming; replace damaged pulleys promptly.
Apply a small amount of lubricant to hinges, pivots, and linkage mechanisms; open and close repeatedly to allow oil penetration. Tighten loose screws; adjust hinges or add gaskets if the door sags.
Lubricate lock cylinders and handles with graphite powder (avoid engine oil); clean dust from keyholes. Fine-tune the strike plate to ensure smooth bolt operation.
III. Sealing & Silent Performance Maintenance (Inspect Quarterly)
Check sealing strips for aging, cracking, peeling, or hardening; replace with matching strips in time to ensure sealing and silence.
Clean drainage holes at the bottom of the door frame to prevent clogging, water buildup, and profile corrosion.
Ensure even gaps between door leaves and frames. Adjust pulleys or hinges if friction occurs on one side, to avoid noise and wear.
IV. Profile Anti-Corrosion & Protection (Inspect Monthly)
Check for scratches or peeling on the coating; touch up with matching anti-rust paint or aluminum alloy special paint if the base metal is exposed.
Coastal / high-humidity areas: Increase cleaning frequency, dry water stains promptly, and spray rust inhibitor on metal parts regularly.
Avoid heavy impact or forced pushing/pulling. Prevent alkaline substances such as cement and lime from splashing onto the door.
V. Annual Deep Maintenance (Once a Year)
Thoroughly clean the door body, sliding rails, hardware, and sealing strips.
Fully lubricate all moving components.
Inspect and tighten all screws and connectors.
Replace aged sealing strips and damaged pulleys/hardware.
Calibrate the horizontal and vertical alignment of door leaves to ensure smooth, noise-free linkage movement.
VI. Usage Prohibitions
Do not scrape the door with sharp objects.
Do not push, pull, or impact the door forcibly.
Keep strong acids, alkalis, paint, cement, etc., away from door profiles.
Do not hang heavy objects on door leaves.
Maintain ventilation during humid seasons and avoid long-term water accumulation.
